We celebrated Faith's 8th birthday this past weekend. It is hard to believe, how fast it goes by. She got a speed stacking set that she has been wanting for a while. Her best friend Madi is a pro and she has been inspired by her to try it. She spent the morning watching the video and getting the routine down. She really like that she competes against herself and her best score. Elijah and Katy got all the kid cups down out of the pantry and started their own towers! We took her to Sweet and Sassy to get her hair done. After getting all glammed up we went to glow in the dark putt putt. After that we headed home so Faith could go to Lynnie's house for her birthday sleepover that has become a tradition. It was a good day of spending time together as a family and enjoying the sweet blessing God has given us in our Faith.

Starting Early
The other night Faith wanted to play the Xbox, so she got all the stuff out. Elijah saw what she was doing and got his little controller out. He plopped right next to her and was very serious about his game. I had to snap a couple pictures because it was so cute. Gunnar and the kids love to play games together, a few weeks ago I went out of town and every time I called they were playing video games!

Well it's been a while since my last post. There has been so much going on around here lately. Faith is officially out of school as of today and we are looking forward to the summer together.
I tried to put the pictures in order but I could not figure out how to move the pictures once they are on there. So they are a little bit out of order, but anyhow you get the idea. They are really coming along on the house now. They are currently finishing the framing and putting in the windows. It is so fun to watch at this stage because there are things changing everyday. The kids love to go and see what they are doing each day.

Trip to Florida
I just returned from a surprise trip to Florida (surprise to my family there). Mom graduated from college and nursing school. I did not tell anyone but my sister in-law Lisa and my brother that I was coming. Needless to say everyone was shocked to see me there. It was so much fun, thanks Lisa I couldn't have done it without you. I left on Thursday night and had a connection in Miami, my plane in Texas was delayed and I missed my connection in Miami. There was no more flights out that night so I stayed overnight in Miami. I was pretty upset and scared being there without Gunnar, I prayed a lot that night for protection and grace in dealing with people that night! I was so proud of Mom for all of the hard work she did for the nursing program, I was so blessed to get to go. Have I said how much I love my husband? He stayed here with all three kids for 4 days and had a blast! The kids said they got to play video games and stay up late. Their going to want me gone more often!! I had such a great time spending time with my family and playing with my nieces and nephews. I got to go to church with my best friend Brandy and watch her sing. It was a quick but great trip. I flew out on Monday morning and again missed my connection in Miami!!!! I am not to happy with American airlines at this point. I finally made it home around noon and I was sooo glad.

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God. I John 3:1
