Good News!
We sold the house today!!! Praise the Lord! We got what we wanted, and we are so excited. We have to be out by July 20 so we are having to work out logistics because our house won't be ready until mid to late August, but I am sure God will help to work out all the details. Thank you to all of you who have been praying!

Summer Fun
For the last two weeks Katy has been taking swim lessons. She has been doing so good, she was a little bit afraid to put her eyes in the water. We got her some little goggles and she is doing so well. We are so proud of her courage to get on in there and try it. This coming from a child that freaks out when we're in the shower and her eyes get wet. She will be swimming on her own in no time.
One of the things we have been planning on getting when we get to the new house was a trampoline for the kids to play on. Well, the other day one of our neighbors that moved asked Gunnar if we would like to have their trampoline that was in their back yard. Of course he said yes! He went to get it that day, it did need a net for the outside but it wasn't to much. The kids love it! Our next door neighbors have one and they are on it daily. Elijah especially loves it, he gets in there and just hops around like a little kangaroo. He will jump until he is dripping in sweat and we drag him off. Now that he has been jumping on the trampoline he gets in his bed and jumps like crazy without holding on to the rails! I am seriously wondering how long this poor crib is going to last. It has become nearly impossible to dress him in there because he is jumping the whole time. It is not to bad until I try to brush his hair and that's when it becomes very difficult. Every stage brings new joy with this sweet boy. We feel so blessed to have 3 great kids.
We have shown the house now 60 times! Still no offers either, we are getting weary of all the showings and cleaning and just overall stress of selling. We believe God will send a buyer in his timing and we are trying to be patient and wait on Him. Please join us in praying that it will sell soon! The new house is coming along. They finished the drywall this yesterday and should be texturing and painting this week. They also delivered the cabinets today. It is amazing to see all the different things going on.

Time Fly's
I love this picture of the zebra
This crazy ostrich came at us like this. We rolled up the window and he came up to the van and started pecking at it!
Elijah was so cute trying to pet the animals
We came upon two deer fighting, it was so cool. They went at it for about 5 minutes. You could hear there antlers hitting, it was like watching National Geographic.
This baby giraffe stuck his head in on the girls side. Well we are coming to the end of Gunnar's vacation and it went by way to fast. We had a lot of fun exploring the metroplex. We could have spent a month and not done all the cool stuff around here. We feel so blessed to live in a place where there are so many fun things to do. Especially after coming from a place where the only thing to do is go to the beach or Target!!
We went to Fossil Rim Wildlife Preserve and had so much fun. The kids LOVED it and so did we. The girls sat in the front seat and fed all the animals and me and Elijah sat in the back, he bounced and squealed the whole time. He did get in the front with daddy a few times and boy he just got right up to the animals he was not the least bit afraid. He is such an animal lover. On Thursday we went to see the Holy Land tour at the Dallas museum. It was neat to see but the kids were kind of bored. Faith liked it but Katy and Elijah had enough the first 5 minutes. We've spent the rest of the time these last couple of days just hanging out and working on the house a bit. We have shown the house 54 times now and we really feel like any day we will get an offer. Several of the people who have looked said they were considering it so we are praying they will make an offer soon. They are coming along on the new house, they should be bricking it this week and hanging drywall. We are over there daily checking it out.
On June 8th Gunnar and I celebrated our 11 year anniversary!! It's wild how fast time goes by it just doesn't seem like it's been that long.
It has been a great vacation, I'm not ready for Gunnar to go back to work. I love having him around with the kids and all. Katy starts swim lessons tomorrow I will post some pictures.

Busy Weekend
What a great weekend in the Johnson house. It started out Friday with a Beth Moore taping at the Life Today studios. I went with Melynda (MIL) and Susan (SIL) and cousin Paige. We got there at 3:00 and we were the first in line!! Now this is a big thing because normally I get there a couple of hours early and I'm like 60 in line! We had a great time chatting it up and getting caught up on everyone and everything. Beth was awesome of course, she is so fun to listen to. I just finished reading Get out of that Pit and I could so see her saying some of the stories she tells in the book.
Saturday we spent the day together as a family. I was also able to go get my haircut which I really needed, and I LOVE IT! Gunnar took the kids to Lunar golf while I was getting that done and we met up afterwords. That night we went out to get a pizza and was nearly hit by a drunk driver. It was only by the grace of God that he missed us and spun into the car behind us. That made for and interesting night. We are huge Cops fans, so getting to see them do a field sobriety test and arresting the guy was like we were on a episode of Cops.
Gunnar is on vacation this week so we are on a mission to see the sites here in the metroplex that we take for granted in our own backyard. We took the kids to the Mint today and it was so interesting to see them make all that money! The kids actually really enjoyed it. Faith our little brainiac had to read all the signs. After that we took the kids to downtown Ft Worth and ate at Potbelly's it was great they had great sandwiches and a great atmosphere. We then headed to the Cowgirl Museum. We were not able to stay long but it was very interesting we are going to take them back so we can spend a bit more time there. All in all it was a very busy weekend. It has been a while since the last post so this one ended up being longer than usual.
