A lot to post about not much time!! Gunnar and I went on a trip to Colorado last week. He taught a seminar at New Life, we went out a few days early and got to ski in Breckenridge. I have never skied before so it was quite and experience for me. Gunnar had skied when he was in junior high I think but it's been a long time! He gave me a couple of quick pointers and we were off. It was freezing cold it was zero!! I had no idea it was not normally that cold so I had a blast!
We went to church on Sunday and it was awesome Ross and Jared led worship so it was a incredible time of worship. We got back last Sunday and now Gunnar is off to California again tomorrow. Meme (my grandma) is going to come and stay over one day and help me out. The kids love getting to spend time with there great grandma. How blessed they are to be able to get to know her and spend so much time with her. Say a little prayer for me that I will have patience with the kiddos and that we will just enjoy the time together. I will try to post some pics of our trip to Colorado soon.

God is Awesome!

On my previous post I asked for prayers for our sweet friends. I just wanted to give you an update. We went to the birthday party that they had for her, where we released over 100 pink and purple balloons. It was a really neat experience the children all went around and said something they loved about Dylan. We attended the funeral that evening and it was heartbreaking and wonderful at the same time. The parents were amazing, they worshiped in the midst of this terrible tragedy. They always say that when you go through difficult times you can always see how a person really is, like what there heart is really like? Well, you truly saw Christ shining through them as they ministered to others that evening. We feel truly blessed to call this couple friends and to have been a part in the celebration of the life of sweet Dylan. Please remember to keep this couple in your prayers. I know that as the next few weeks go by and everyone stops coming around everyday that the reality will set in. There are certainly some difficult times ahead of them. But we know that our God is bigger than any that the enemy will throw their way. We know that His Word says that " No weapon formed against me shall prosper" I am praying and believing that for this precious family.

Prayer Request

I am writing today to ask for prayer for friends of ours who's baby girl (who would be two today) drowned on Wednesday. This family has been so strong, it has been amazing. I have struggled so much about why God allows things like this to happen. They were amazing parents who did everything right. My heart is broken for them, and all the sadness I feel their pain is so much more. She had 4 other siblings. The funeral is tonight and we are having a small get together this afternoon to celebrate her her birthday . Pray for healing, strength, and comfort for them.
