Ok, so I admit when they said it would snow today I paid no attention. They said it would snow Monday and all we got was a few flurries! Well today I'm in my ladies life group and we hear sleet pelting the window. When we go to leave it had been sleeting hard
for almost 30 min. The roads were slushy and slick. I went to pick up Elijah and then went ahead and picked up the girls from school so I wouldn't have to get out again. I still didn't really think it would be anymore than some heavy sleet. Well after about 30 minutes of being home it started really snowing, like big fat flakes coming so hard you could hardly see. It snowed like that for a good 2 hours. Needless to say the kids played and played and played. Elijah didn't want to play in it when it was snowing. When it stopped I decided to go out and play with them. He loved it then! We built a snowman and he just loved knocking the head off of it. He loved to throw snow balls and have them thrown at him! It was a lot of fun. As I sit here typing Gunnar and Faith are still out there in the dark determined to build this huge snowman. To give you and idea the bottom is up to Faith's neck! I will post pictures tomorrow when they finish it. Who knows how late they will be out there. Poor Gunnar was at a meeting in Dallas today and it took him 3 1/2 hours to get home so he didn't get much time to play. He is such a big kid! He went out and took the girls sledding and stuff.
