Out the front after it let up

When Gunnar opened the door to grab some they came flying in the house into the entry really hard!

Elijah looked out the window and said "What in the heck?" I know I need to tell him that is not appropriate language but it was so funny! He also wanted to know who was going to get out there and clean them all up

They were actually really spiky. They weren't smooth at all like the little ones usually are!
Well to say the weather in Texas is unpredictable would be an understatement. Yesterday was such a beautiful day we played in the backyard until it was to dark to see each other. We put the kids to bed and watch 24. At the end we see the weather and see that a really bad line of storms is coming with hail in the next 10 minutes. So
Gunnar and I run down stairs and see about Mom and Dad's cars. We park ours in the garage but theirs are parked outside. We decided to move the cars across the street under the covered entrance at the school. I wish we had a picture of this because it was so funny looking. Their cars were pulled up all the way to the front doors! But praise the Lord there was NO damage to there cars!!
Gunnar and Dad got back over with about 5 minutes to spare before the hail came and boy did it come down! It was so loud I was even a bit surprised. We have a two story house and it was still extremely loud. I am so thankful that no windows were broken. There are several houses with windows broken and shutters busted. The kids woke up and were scared to death but it was over within about 5-10 minutes! I feel terrible for so many of my friends with busted windshields and cars. Today the sun is shining it is a bit cooler but it looks to be a beautiful day outside. This weather is so crazy around here!
