Yeah, its bluebonnet time

This weekend we took a trip to Blossom Texas for the funeral of Gunnar's great grandmother Kitty Bonner. She was 97 years old, an awesome women of God and such and example to all of us who new her.

On our way home we stopped to take some pictures in the beautiful bluebonnets. I love this time of year when all of the wild flowers are in bloom. It looks like God just takes a paint brush and paints the fields it is really a beautiful sight. I always like to get pictures in them and of course Susan brought her camera so we pulled over and all of us hauled out on the shoulder of the highway and jumped over a ditch to get our pictures in flowers! Needless to say the guys were not to thrilled but we got our pictures quickly and they turned out well. Faith is so photogenic she just hops right out there and poses for us. She does such a great job getting her little brother (who adores both his sisters) to smile and stay still for the camera. The pictures turned out well and we had fun getting them. MEMORIES!!

That is a wonderful post and wonderful pictures. What a lovely family!

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God. I John 3:1
